Slaughter day is always a hard one. Watching a life end is as emotional as watching one begin, in very similar, but also different ways. Especially when it means saying an earlier than anticipated goodbye to a very special friend.

The meat from the two beef we slaughtered went to over a dozen different households, including our own. That is incredible.

As hard as it can be sometimes, we are proud to be producing and providing nourishing food for these families and we are so, so honored to be caring for these beautiful creatures. ❤️
